Labradorite Teardrop Pendant

Electroforming is an electrochemical process where copper is dissolved from one object and deposited on another. I source my copper “donor” materials from a plumbing company, so their waste product is actually recycled into my pieces.

This piece has been aged with an oxidizing solution to permanently change the color of the copper.  Over time, and depending on how it’s worn, the colors will continue to change.  It has also been coated with a microcrystalline wax polish to protect the metal finish.
