Moss Agate Ring

Electroforming is an electrochemical process where copper is dissolved from one object and deposited on another. I source my copper “donor” materials from a plumbing company, so their waste product is actually recycled into my pieces.

This piece has been polished to a bright shine.  Over time, it may need to be polished again to keep it’s luster, or you may choose to let it develop a natural patina.  It has also been coated with a microcrystalline wax polish to protect the metal finish.
